Business advisory

Make important business decisions with a clearer view of cash flow, assumptions and the trade-offs involved.

Let’s discuss your needs

Overview

A sound basis for your next move.

Business decisions rarely come with complete information. We help structure the question, test the financial assumptions and compare practical alternatives. The work is designed to support your judgement and produce a decision process that can be explained, documented and revisited.

Business advisory

In detail

Budgets and liquidity planning

We connect expected trading activity with the timing of receipts, payments and funding needs. A useful plan distinguishes profit from cash and makes seasonal pressure visible. Assumptions are recorded so that changes can be understood instead of hidden inside a spreadsheet.

Scenarios and investment decisions

Growth, hiring or capital expenditure can be assessed under a base case and less favourable alternatives. We examine which assumptions drive the outcome and what happens if demand, costs or timing differ. Scenarios illustrate sensitivity; they are not forecasts or guaranteed results.

Financing readiness

A financing conversation benefits from consistent figures, an understandable business case and clearly described uses of funds. We help prepare the financial narrative and identify supporting documents. Lending decisions, pricing and acceptance remain with the relevant financing provider.

Ownership and transition

A succession discussion or change in ownership raises financial, organisational and personal questions. We help map the priorities, dependencies and information required. Valuation, legal and tax assignments are scoped explicitly and coordinated with appropriate specialists where needed.

How we work

  1. Understand your starting point

We discuss your priorities, existing arrangements and upcoming decisions. We identify what needs attention now, what can wait and which information is still missing.

  2. Agree a clear scope

You receive a defined approach: responsibilities, required documents, expected deliverables and the basis for fees. External specialists or bank services are discussed separately where needed.

  3. Implement and keep perspective

We coordinate the agreed work, explain open questions and document the next steps. The review rhythm reflects your needs; significant changes are discussed before the scope is extended.

A productive first conversation

  • The decision you are considering and its timing
  • Recent accounts, budget and cash position
  • Key assumptions, commitments and constraints
  • Stakeholders involved in the decision

A short overview is enough to get started. Please do not send identity documents, account credentials or sensitive financial records by ordinary email. We agree a suitable transfer method with you.

Your questions, answered

Is this suitable for a small business?

Yes. A focused cash-flow review or decision model can be valuable without a large consulting project. We match the depth of work to the significance of the decision and the information available.

Will you arrange or guarantee financing?

A planning engagement does not constitute a financing commitment. We can help prepare the material for a lender, but credit approval and terms must be confirmed directly by the provider.

What makes the outcome actionable?

We aim for a clear decision brief: assumptions, alternative scenarios, unresolved questions and the next actions with owners. The precise deliverables and review dates are agreed at the start.
