How your fixed-term deposit enquiry works

Offers only on request

We send fixed-term deposit offers only to clients who have requested one. Without an offer request, we do not contact you about deposit offers.

Your money goes to the bank

You transfer the deposit directly to the chosen bank using its verified payment instructions. We never receive, hold or forward your deposit funds.

Our role is to help you compare

We explain the bank, available term, interest rate, conditions and any fees. The bank holds the deposit; we are not the deposit-taking institution.

Perspective before placement

A rate is only part of the decision.

Selected Western European market examples, compared on the same basis: EUR, 12 months, gross annual interest. This is an editorial selection, not a whole-market best-rate ranking or a personal recommendation.

Indicative public rates are a momentary snapshot and may change at any time before placement. The agreed fixed rate normally remains unchanged during the contractual term. These are not our binding offers or confirmed partner allocations. Eligibility, availability, fees and tax treatment must be checked individually; access for Swiss residents is not assured.

Switzerland

When the bank itself carries an AAA rating.

These Swiss institutions publish verifiable bank ratings and offer fixed-term deposits. They quote current interest rates individually, so no unverified p.a. figure is displayed. They are separate from the EU market examples and subject to Swiss rules.

Protection has a scope and a limit.

EU protection generally covers eligible deposits up to EUR 100,000 per depositor per bank, including aggregated accounts. Review the actual bank’s depositor information sheet and leave room for interest. The Swiss banks above have a separate framework.

Overview

Plan the return. Understand the commitment.

We help clients request and compare fixed-term deposit offers from banks. We are not a bank and never receive, hold or forward client deposit funds. You transfer the money directly to the chosen bank, which holds the deposit. We send offers and contact clients about fixed-term deposits only when they have requested an offer; we do not send unsolicited deposit offers.

Fixed-term deposits

In detail

What a fixed-term deposit does

You place an agreed amount with a bank for a specified period at a contractual interest rate. Once the placement is accepted, that rate generally applies for the agreed term. New offers can change at any time. Access before maturity is usually unavailable or subject to the contract's restrictions.

How our Kontingente work

Partner-bank allocations may differ from publicly advertised retail products in amount, maturity or pricing. Availability is checked individually and is not guaranteed by an enquiry. We explain the bank, eligibility, rate, allocation conditions and any fees before you decide. A public market example is not evidence of an allocation with that bank.

Choose the bank, not only the rate

We distinguish the legal deposit-taking institution from a brand or intermediary. The bank's own credit rating, the relevant national protection scheme and your existing exposure are separate considerations. A country's AAA rating is not an AAA rating of every bank based there, nor a guarantee of every deposit.

Understand deposit protection

EU rules generally protect eligible deposits up to EUR 100,000 per depositor per bank through national schemes. Accounts at the same bank are aggregated; different brand names do not necessarily mean separate protection. Leave room for accrued interest and check the bank's depositor information sheet, eligibility and applicable exclusions.

Keep tomorrow's money accessible

Separate operational cash and emergency reserves before choosing a term. A maturity ladder splits an amount across different end dates, which can reduce the need to reinvest everything at once. It does not make each individual deposit available early, and future reinvestment rates remain uncertain.

Read p.a. in context

Per annum means per year, not per deposit period. As a simplified illustration, EUR 50,000 at 3.00% p.a. earns EUR 1,500 gross over one year, or approximately EUR 750 over six months. Actual interest depends on day-count rules, payment dates and compounding. Taxes and charges reduce the net result.

Inflation and currency matter

A positive nominal return can still mean reduced purchasing power. The inflation snapshot above describes the past, not the next twelve months or your personal spending basket. If your future expenses are in CHF, a EUR deposit also creates exchange-rate exposure that can outweigh the interest earned.

A documented placement and maturity

Before any transfer, confirm the contracting bank, account holder, beneficiary details and contractual documents through a verified channel. Do not transfer to an unfamiliar personal account. We clarify interest payment, repayment and any renewal instruction in advance, and discuss the next step before an agreed maturity review.

Make the numbers tangible.

Explore a simple gross-interest scenario. These inputs are illustrative, not a bank quote.

Illustrative gross interest€1,500.00
Capital plus interest€51,500.00

Simple interest: amount × annual rate × months / 12. No compounding, taxes, fees or currency movements. Actual bank day-count conventions may differ. Allowed inputs: EUR 1–10,000,000, 0–20% p.a., 1–120 whole months.

How we work

  1. You request an offer

Tell us your indicative amount, currency, preferred term and country of residence. We respond to your request; we do not approach people with unsolicited fixed-term deposit offers.

  2. You review the bank and terms

We check availability and explain the bank, eligibility, rate, term, any fees and applicable deposit protection. You review the bank’s documents and decide whether to proceed. An enquiry does not commit you to a deposit.

  3. You transfer directly to the bank

If you proceed, verify the payment instructions with the bank through an official channel and transfer your funds directly to it. We never receive, hold or forward the deposit. Repayment and interest follow the bank’s contract.

A productive first conversation

  • The amount and currency you are considering
  • When you will need access to the money
  • Country of residence and individual or company status
  • Existing deposits at the same banks or banking licences

A short overview is enough to get started. Please do not send identity documents, account credentials or sensitive financial records by ordinary email. We agree a suitable transfer method with you.

Your questions, answered

Do I transfer my deposit to your company?

No. You transfer your fixed-term deposit directly to the chosen bank using payment details verified with that bank. Our company never receives, holds or forwards your deposit funds. The deposit is held by the bank.

Will you contact me if I have not requested an offer?

No. We send fixed-term deposit offers and contact clients about those offers only after they have requested one. We do not send unsolicited deposit offers or make unsolicited sales calls about them. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing communications.

Is your company the bank that holds my deposit?

No. Our role is to help you request and compare offers and understand the bank’s conditions. The chosen bank holds your deposit. The applicable contract and the bank’s depositor information explain the term, interest, repayment and any deposit protection.

Are the displayed bank rates your own offers?

No. They are dated public-market examples from the banks' own websites, not confirmed partner allocations, binding quotes or a complete market ranking. Logos identify the institutions; they do not imply an endorsement or a commercial relationship.

How do I receive an up-to-date offer?

Contact us with an indicative amount, currency, preferred term and country of residence. We check available partner allocations and explain the specific bank, conditions, fees and eligibility. Only a confirmed offer and its contractual acceptance determine the applicable rate.

Does my rate change throughout the term?

Publicly advertised rates for new placements may change frequently. An accepted fixed-rate deposit normally keeps its agreed rate until maturity, subject to the contract. A renewal is a new decision and may have a different rate.

Can a Swiss resident access every EU offer?

No. Public retail offers can be restricted by residence, tax status or distribution channel. The examples shown are from the German retail market. We verify whether a particular partner offer is available to you; the comparison is not a promise of access.

Is AAA the same as deposit insurance?

No. A credit rating is an agency's assessment and can change. Deposit insurance is a separate legal arrangement with eligibility conditions and limits. The Swiss AAA-rated examples have their own Swiss framework; the EU EUR 100,000 rule must not be applied to them.

Can I withdraw early, or automatically renew?

The individual contract decides. Early withdrawal is often excluded, while some products renew automatically unless instructed otherwise. We review both points before placement so that the maturity date fits your actual liquidity needs.

What about taxes and fees?

Published rates are gross. Your tax residence, the bank's jurisdiction, withholding rules, any reclaim procedure and agreed service or conversion charges can affect the net return. These points are reviewed individually; the comparison does not provide personal tax advice.
