01Orderly day-to-day bookkeeping
We agree how invoices, receipts and bank movements are supplied and processed. A consistent account structure and clear supporting records make transactions easier to trace. Missing information is flagged through an agreed review process rather than left to accumulate until year-end.
02Reconciliation and control
Bank balances, outstanding receivables and payables need regular attention. We review reconciliations within the mandate, identify unexplained differences and distinguish timing issues from items that need action. Approval rights and payment authorisations remain clearly separated and documented.
03A prepared year-end
Year-end preparation can include schedules for accruals, fixed assets, open balances and supporting evidence for material positions. We coordinate the agreed handover to tax advisers or external auditors. Statutory audit work is not implied by an accounting engagement.
04Reporting with context
A profit figure alone does not explain liquidity. We help interpret the relationship between revenue, costs, working capital and available funds. Reporting frequency and comparative views are selected around the questions you need answered, not the number of pages produced.
